Quadency Bots 101: Getting started with Crypto Trading Automation

Step 1: Get Familiar with Quadency's Bot Space
My Bots
This is your main bot workspace. Here you can see an overview of all the automated strategies you have configured, backtested, & run. Quickly view the profits and trades made, check the status of your bot, or stop it in an instant.
My Configuration space
This is where you configure your bot strategy and adjust settings, create variations, run backtests, and start your bots live.
Step 2: Configure a strategy
Select your strategy
Quadency currently offers 12 different pre-built and fully configurable trading bot options. You can choose between indicator based bots such as MACD and RSI, or trading strategy based bots like Grid Trader and Portfolio Rebalancer. You can also set up advanced automation strategies with the TradingView bot. Select one to get the configuration started.

Click on Learn More and read the strategy description in our support center. It will guide you through the entire strategy configuration process and also explain how the bot works.
General settings
The general settings are the same for every bot available on the platform. You can choose a configuration name or keep the one generated by Quadency. Here you select the exchange, account, and market you want to run your bot on.
Strategy settings
The strategy settings are specific to each bot. Each setting has a tool tip to guide you through the configuration.

Step 3: Get your bot started
Backtest your strategy
Congratulations on configuring your strategy..now it's time to backtest it! Using historical data, a backtest can help you refine the strategy settings to find better configurations.
Create new bot strategies and switch between them
You want to run multiple bots based on the same strategy or indicator? Quickly create new configurations & switch between them instantly.
Start live
Click start live to automate your strategy! Then sit back as your trades execute, and review the detailed logs under Live Mode.
